The ARS Displex is available in 3 different low temperature performance configurations - 4K “S”, 6K “N” or 9K “A” and 3 different standard physical configurations – 1) Double o-ring seals to fit various vacuum enclosures, 2) true UHV bakeable conflat or 3) Basic flat flange (bare). Custom flange arrangements are routinely provided – please contact the factory to discuss these.

FEATURES

  • <4K / 6K / 9K to 350K operating range. (Options to 500K or 800K)

  • High capacity through the full temperature range – 9 watts @ 20K / 17 watts at 77K allows
    fast cool down of heavy samples and resists large radiant heat loading.

  • Small and compact design

  • Simple pneumatic drive has only two moving parts allowing easy field maintenance and
    greatly minimizes vibration making the Displex particularly suitable for research applications

  • Lowest life cycle cost in its class.

[1] Temperature measured with heat load applied @ cryocooler cold tip with no cold tip attachments, with cold tip vertically down, @ 60 Hz power, @ room ambient (19-25 C), with full radiant heat shield attached to 1st stage, with no additional applied 1st stage heat load, high vacuum insulation (starting vacuum <10 mtorr w/ < 5 mtorr/min rate-of-rise), 10' flexhoses. 50 Hz reduces capacity ~ 20 %
