Ultra Low Vibration
LT3

The Helitran® LT3 is the backbone of cryogenic research when vibrations are a concern. The atomic resolution is achieved through its series of heat exchangers and the coaxial shield flow transfer line which ensures liquid at the tip. This system is available in either a UHV (LT3B) design or accepts its own series of vacuum shrouds.

Optical Microscopy

This closed cycle microscopy cryostat boasts ultra low vibrations (3-5 nm) and can achieve temperatures up to 450 K. The continuously adjustable sample height (1.5 mm to 7 mm) allows for a wide variety of sample sizes. Consult the factory for the addition of magnet posts and all other options and features.

X-20
Ultra Low Vibration

The Ultra Low Vibration Interface allows for 3-5 nm of vibration at the sample. This system uses a helium exchange gas to decouple the cryocooler from the interface. This system comes standard with 4 window ports and has an F/1.4. The minimum sample space is 1.9 inches in diameter by 1.5 inches long. A wide variety of options are available for easy sample change and translation capabilities.

X-20B
ULV for UHV

Our X-20B has the best of both worlds, with both Ultra Low Vibrations and the Ultra High Vacuum. Vibration levels of 3-5 nm can be achieved while maintaining vacuum levels of 10-11 Torr. This combination provides the upmost flexibility for experimental setups. Because the cryocooler can be removed easily from the exchange gas interface without breaking vacuum, the system can be easily baked out to 200 C.
