Helitran LT-3G Open Cycle Cryostats

Widely recognized as the standard in lab research circles, the LT-3 Helitran's simplicity, adaptability, and precision allow research versatility over a wide range of applications.  The LT-3G was specifically designed to interface with the cryostat carrier developed by Huber for use with it's 511 and 512 goniometers.
     Low-loss transfer of liquid helium from the transfer line to the sample is controlled by the fine needle valve in the Helitran's cold tip. A heater - also in the cold tip - permits experiments to 350 K.

FEATURES

  • Operates with liquid helium in the 2K to 350 K range or liquid nitrogen in the 77 - 350 K range.
  • Vacuum shrouds rotatable 360 degs under vacuum.  See DMX-2 and DMX-2D.
  • Optional multi pin instrumentation.
  • Operates in any orinentation with no loss of performance.
  • Removable patented flexible line allows cold end interchangeability.
  • All sample area components are OFHC copper, brass or 304 non magnetic stainless steel.
  • Helium exhaust heater prevents frost from forming on vacuum shroud and reduces the possibility of cryogen burns.
  • Minimum maintenance requirements.
  • Quick and easy sample changing.
  • Liquid nitrogen use requires only change of cryogen; Helitran equipment stays the same.
  • Accepts DMX series of vacuum shrouds for many research interface requirements
  • Transfer line available in 6 ft (standard) and 8 ft or 10 ft sections
