ARS also has an extensive background in creating bake-able UHV systems to ensure the cleanest sample possible, and to further reducing background noise for measurements.
With low noise operation and precision stainless steel bearing manipulators, position and landing probes onto samples have never been easier. Standard resolution of travel <5 micron, with motorized solutions available for ultra-precise placement.
High Power Magnetic Fields
Magnet fields up to 9 Tesla in probe station testing is an advanced and highly desirable feature. Both in-vacuum and out of vacuum solutions are available, with magnets using superconductingdesigns and electromagnetic designs respectively.
ARS also takes the extra effort of implementing dual cryocooler designs for superior temperature performance and enabling temperature-independent field ratings.
Probe Tips for Every Application
Modular arm and tip assemblies are available for all measurements in <3-800K environments. ARS supplied electrical probes can support frequencies up to 67GHz with microwave probes. Fiber optic probe arms and in vacuum objectives are also offered for precise optical input or output. Custom wedge probes with XYZ manipulation are also available on request.
