Assembly Technician

Career Description
Advanced Research Systems sells scientific equipment (cryostats) to universities and government labs, primarily in physics, materials science, and electrical engineering departments.  This position is a full-time position and will be responsible for assembly and wiring installation of various ARS products.  Experience working in electrical and piping is essential.  This technician should be able to read and interpret engineering/production drawings to guide assemblies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of experience in manufacturing and able to work off drawings.

  • Strong Electrical and mechanical skills.

  • Experience soldering and brazing both copper and stainless.

  • Completion of single and three phase wiring

  • Being a self-starter with good skill set

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lb. components while instrumenting

  • A full time, day shift factory position based in Macungie, PA

  • Legally eligible to work and reside in the USA
