The CS210-GMX-1SS offers very high cooling power for fast cool downs and low base temperatures. This system is ideal when characterizing large materials with high heat loads or when the lowest possible temperature needs to be achieved.

This system is capable of achieving vacuum levels of 10-7 Torr with an appropriate vacuum system. The lower vacuum reduces the sample surface contamination, such as water molecules, which can be particularly detrimental to IR spectroscopy.

The nickel plated copper radiation shield provides a durable low emissivity finish, ideal for reducing radiant heat load in low temperature experiments.

The CS210-GMX-1SS is powered by our DE-210 series closed cycle cryocooler. This liquid helium free cryostat uses a pneumatically driven Gifford-McMahon Cycle to extract heat from the system.
