CS202-DMX-5
The CS202E-DMX-5 is designed for neutron scattering or neutron diffraction experiments. The vacuum shroud is made entirely of aluminum and has a 360° "window" of aluminum thinned to 1 mm at the sample height for maximum transmission. Vacuum shrouds with aluminum domes and vanadium construction are also available.
The CS202E-DMX-5 is powered by our DE-202 series closed cycle cryocooler. This liquid helium-free cryostat uses a pneumatically driven Gifford-McMahon cycle to cool the sample.
Closed cycle cryocoolers for neutron scattering or neutron diffraction are available with a minimum temperature capability of 1.7 K, 4 K and 10 K. Maximum temperatures as high as 900 K are achievable using the high-temperature interface on the 4 K and 10 K cryocoolers.
